Girl Scout Programs at ScienceSouth

In September ScienceSouth will begin the first of eight workshop series for Girl Scouts. The topics will cover a variety of science themes, ranging from botany to space. The workshops will run from 10:00 am to noon at ScienceSouth on every second Saturday of the month, with the exceptions of November and December.

The cost is $10/child. A total of five children must be registered for a workshop to occur. Maximum attendance is 30.

Bloom Into Science

From seeds to leaves, learn about the life of a plant as you bloom into science. Discover the importance of plant life to human life. Take part in a nature walk and help maintain ScienceSouth’s very own garden.

Call of the Wild

Get up close and personal with wildlife at ScienceSouth. Explore the characteristics, habitats, and adaptations of animals. Be creative as we build feeders, “walk on the wild side” and handle the creatures that live at our Pavilion.
